ISSUE 61

What actually happens after you sign with us

Our seven phases, start to finish

Hey there,

Matteo here from Kinetyca.

The questions we get on a first call are mostly about price and proof. Fair enough. Those two decide whether there is anything else to talk about.

The one sitting right behind them is more interesting, and it is the one I most like answering. People want to know what actually happens after they sign. Not the pitch. The sequence. Who does what, in what order, and when a real message finally reaches a real inbox.

So here is ours, written out properly. Seven phases. These are the ones our delivery system is genuinely built on, in that order, rather than a tidied-up version for a slide.

The first six are the build

They run once. They are measured in weeks, not months. And for most of them, nothing has left the building yet.

  • 1: Setup. We buy the sending domains, create the mailboxes and start warming them. Nothing sends in this phase.
  • 2: Foundation. Two discovery calls, then your company written down properly: who you sell to, the proof you actually have, the warm pools already sitting in your CRM, how you sound.
  • 3: Strategy. Campaign concepts ranked against each ICP, warm pools first, every one sized before a credit is spent, plus the scoring model that decides who hears from you first.
  • 4: Targeting. The list built to spec, a small batch qualified before we spend at scale, scored with your model, every address verified.
  • 5: Message. Subject line, opener, first email, the full sequence and the LinkedIn touches. You see the exact copy and approve it before anything is loaded.
  • 6: Launch. Campaigns built as drafts in the email and LinkedIn sequencers. A human activates them. Always.

The end of phase 6 is the moment people are really asking about. That is when the first real messages land in real inboxes.

Phase 7 is the one that does not end

👉 7: Operate. Every morning the live campaigns get read against their own criteria. Replies classified and routed, inboxes rested before deliverability slips, lists topped up before they run dry, copy and targeting rewritten when the numbers say so.

There is no end of phase here. You get a weekly report and a system that keeps being tuned.

I think this is the part worth paying attention to, because it is the part you are actually buying. The first six phases are a project. Anyone disciplined can run a project. The seventh is an operating habit, and that is where outbound quietly dies when nobody owns it.

Why I lay it out as a sequence

Because the order is the answer.

Almost everyone asking about process is really asking one narrow thing: when does something reach a real inbox. Everything before phase 6 is the build. Everything after it is the part that compounds.

It also makes the trade visible. The weeks spent in phases 2 to 4, the ones where nothing sends and it can feel like nothing is happening, are exactly the weeks that decide whether phase 7 is worth running at all. A fast launch on a bad list is not a shortcut, it is just an earlier dead end.

One thing I would ask you

If you run this in-house, I would like to know how many of these seven you have actually written down. Not run. Written down.

Having the work happen is not the same as having a sequence. It can live in someone’s head or spread across a few tools and still get done, right up until the person holding it is busy or leaves. That is a different problem from not doing the work, and it is usually the cheaper one to fix.

Hit reply and tell me which of the seven you would struggle to describe to someone joining next week. I read every one.
