The LinkedIn Growth System that got us 30+ inbound calls a week

A practical breakdown of our social inbound system.

Hey there,

Quick idea that changed how we approach LinkedIn.

Most LinkedIn “growth” advice is about posting more.

That’s rarely the bottleneck.

The bottleneck is what happens after someone engages.

A comment comes in.

A profile view.

A lead magnet request.

And then… nothing gets captured, nothing gets routed, and the next post starts from zero again.

In 2025, we built a LinkedIn system to fix that.

It generated a ton of inbound leads for us.

Since then, we’ve optimised it further to maximise every touchpoint, so nothing leaks.

In this newsletter, I’ll walk you through the engine at a high level, and how each step connects from content to calls.

Here’s the full system in simple language.

Step 1: Start with ICP clarity

This engine only works when you know exactly who you want.

Roles, industries, pains, triggers, and the proof they trust.

That becomes your angle map for content.

Step 2: Remove guesswork by scraping what already works

Instead of brainstorming from scratch, we collect winning posts from competitors, creators, trends, and long-form sources.

We tag formats, angles, and topics, then turn them into reusable patterns.

Step 3: Ship a weekly mix that covers the funnel

We don’t post daily.

We run a weekly cadence that stays consistent:

1 lead magnet post, 1 TOFU post (reach and saves), 1 BOFU post (conversion).

TOFU earns attention.

Lead magnets capture demand.

BOFU converts people who are already watching.

Step 4: Make engagement a daily distribution layer

Posting alone is not enough.

We comment where our ICP hangs out and reply fast when people engage.

That daily repetition is what turns visibility into recognition.

Step 5: Treat LinkedIn as a signal source

Not every interaction matters, but patterns do.

We track repeat engagement, profile views, and lead magnet requests.

Those signals get pushed into our routing layer, cleaned, and segmented into action lists.

Step 6: Route signals into actions

This is where most LinkedIn strategies fall apart.

We push engagement data into Clay via webhooks, then filter and segment into:

ICP leads, connect now, engagement list, and creators.

Each list has a clear next step, so nothing gets lost.

Step 7: Boost winners with ads

When a post clearly outperforms, we don’t let it die in the feed.

We boost it to our ideal audience to grow the right followers.

More ideal followers means higher baseline reach on every future post, and more inbound over time.

We turned the full workflow into a deep dive Notion guide.

Every step, tool, and handoff mapped end to end, including what to track weekly and what to boost.
