New money is the oldest trigger in outbound and the most badly used. The value is not knowing who raised, it is filtering to the subset where a raise actually changes what they will buy.
Every competitor in your market has access to funding announcements. The list is not the advantage. What separates a raise-triggered campaign that works from one that gets ignored is how hard you filter before you write anything.
So the skill treats the round, the recency, the geography and the headcount band as first class inputs rather than as a post-processing step. A Series B in your region inside the last quarter is a different buyer from a seed round on another continent two years ago, and the list should never contain both.
Enough to write against, not a database dump.
This is a discovery skill and it stops at discovery. It never contacts anyone. The pool it produces is handed to a list build for enrichment and verification, then to the copy skills, where the trigger becomes the opener rather than the whole message.
Skills compound. These are the ones we usually install alongside it.
