Clips are the highest-leverage output a podcast produces and the one most likely to sit in a folder, because each one needs five small jobs nobody owns.
Why clips rot in folders
Each clip needs to be found, transcribed, captioned, scheduled and filed. None of these is hard and all five belong to nobody in particular, so the clips accumulate and the episode's reach stops at the episode.
Chaining them means the work happens as a run rather than as five reminders, and the clips go out while the episode is still current.
The library is the durable part
Every clip is filed with its full transcript and its link. Six months later, when a post needs exactly the moment where somebody explained a thing well, it is findable. Without that the clips exist and are effectively lost.
Approval before anything is written
The plan, the schedule and the captions are shown before any task is created. A pipeline that writes fourteen scheduled tasks before anyone looks is one that has to be undone by hand when the schedule is wrong.
