THE SHORT VERSION

Reps either research properly and book half as many calls, or skip it and sound like everyone else. The skill removes the trade off: the depth of a 40 minute manual dig, in the time it takes to paste a domain.

YOU GIVE ITA company domain or a person's LinkedIn profile.
YOU GET BACKRecent news, leadership, tech stack signals, podcasts, interviews and career moves, in one structured snapshot.

What it reads

The skill works outward from the domain. First the company itself: what they sell, who they sell it to, headcount and locations, funding history and the last ninety days of announcements. Then the people: who sits in the relevant seats, how long they have been there, what they did before, and what they have said publicly.

Only after that does it look at movement. Hiring pages, tooling changes, expansion into new markets, leadership churn. This ordering matters. Signals without context produce openers that sound clever and land badly.

What good output looks like

The snapshot is not a data dump. It closes with two or three angles that a rep could actually open a conversation with, each tied to something verifiable, and each marked with how time sensitive it is.

A named buyer, their remit, and what they have said about the problem you solve
One or two things that changed recently and are worth referencing
The angles, ranked, with the weak ones removed rather than listed for completeness
Anything that suggests this is the wrong account or the wrong moment

Where teams use it

Three moments, mostly. Before a first touch on a named account, where it replaces a manual dig that nobody has time for. Before a call, where it is usually paired with pre-call prep. And during list qualification, where it kills accounts that look right on paper and are obviously wrong once you read them.

What it will not do

It will not invent a reason to reach out. If the account has nothing going on and no obvious pain, the snapshot says so, and that is the useful answer. It also does not write the email. That is deliberate: research and copy are separate jobs, and joining them tends to produce personalisation that is technically accurate and tonally wrong.

NEXT STEP

Run this one inside
your own team.

We install it trained on your ICP, your offers and your data. One call to work out whether it is the right one to start with.
