Short posts look like the easy format and are the hardest, because there is nowhere for a weak idea to hide.
In a long post a mediocre idea can be carried by structure, examples and rhythm. In two lines it is just the idea, exposed. That is why short posts are where accounts either establish a voice quickly or reveal that they do not have one.
The skeletons exist to make sure the form is right so that the idea is the only variable, which is uncomfortable and correct.
Short posts are written in batches and read as a stream. Ten individually decent posts that all make the same rhetorical move produce a feed that reads as repetitive even though no single post is bad. So variety is checked across the batch rather than post by post.
The taste rules apply: plain English, no analogies, endings that pay off rather than trail away, and nothing asserted that is not true. These sit underneath every post type on the channel rather than being restated per format.
Skills compound. These are the ones we usually install alongside it.
